Global Partnership Family Offices (GPFO) in London is a privately owned, independent and impartial platform for global family office principals and wealth owners.
Aldo Garbagnati was appointed GPFO representative for the Middle East and Emicapital was the sole sponsor and host of Gulf Week 2016, in March.
The week-long event celebrated the global approach of the single family office experience through a number of activities aimed at bringing together European families and their Arab peers as their share experiences and explore new avenues of cooperation. Among others, the activities included two Polo events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, under the patronage of British Polo Day.
Gulf Week 2016 featured two closed-door business roundtables, where our guests of several nationalities met local families, speakers and authorities for an exchange of information, challenges and experience. The events offered our guests a chance to receive updated high-quality information on the Gulf region and on investment opportunities from local experts. Some presentations focussed on the UAE as a business and financial destination for FOs and MFOs touching the regulatory framework, the Country legal system and the operational infrastructure. Other presentations introduced investment opportunities in real estate and private equity supported by Emicapital investment vehicles.
